When justice fails, I stand between your child and the void.”
— Jimmy Leo Richardson, III – Attorney, Father, Servant
Who we are
I Am a Father First. An Attorney Advocate and A Servant Always.
I am Jimmy Leo Richardson, III.
A father. A child advocate.
A devout Roman Catholic.
An attorney who steps into Tennessee’s juvenile courts—not just to practice law, but to protect the voiceless.
This is not just a law office.
It is a vocation.
A shield for children.
A sword for justice.
A promise whispered in prayer—and kept in the face of institutional failure.
I represent parents, relatives, and children across Middle Tennessee—especially when the Department of Children’s Services (DCS) gets it wrong.
When the system forgets the sacredness of family, I do not.
Because I am not just a lawyer.
I am The Advocate Father.

- Address
If you’re here, it means something serious has happened.
Maybe DCS showed up at your door.
Maybe a judge removed your child without warning.
Maybe no one is listening.
You are not alone.
I’ve been in the courtroom when everything is on the line—when parents shake, relatives weep, and truth is ignored.
- I fight to:
- Reunite families torn apart too soon
- Defend parental rights at every stage
- Stop foster care placements when safe family exists
- Hold the system accountable when it causes harm
- This isn’t just legal work.
- It’s advocacy.
- It’s protection.
- It’s personal.

A Father’s Heart
I love as a father before I fight as a lawyer. Every child I defend is someone’s sacred gift.

A Servant’s Oath
I was not called to win cases—I was called to serve. I go where others will not, and I stay when others leave.

A Catholic Conscience
My conscience is formed by faith, not fear. Justice must be pursued—but never without love

Knowledge is power. And in juvenile court or family court, it’s also protection.
